Understanding what and how to eat is essential to wellness. The saying “You are what you eat” is only true to a certain point. You are “what nutrients your body is able to assimilate and absorb”.
The food you consume gets assimilated into your bloodstream, your blood is what creates your cells, your tissues, your organs, your skin and hair, your brain and eventually your thoughts and feelings.
Your body is completely intelligent. It is constantly sending you messages about what it needs for health and balance. These messages appear as inflammation, weight issues, health problems and conditions, cravings and intuitions.
Wherever you currently fall on your health spectrum is completely okay. Now that you are here, your life and your health are only going to get better.
